Since 1964, Les Danseurs has promoted fellowship in the Lansing and Mid-Michigan area through ballroom dancing.

 

Les Danseurs hosts one dance a month from September to May at the Grand Ledge Country Club, near Lansing, Michigan.  Our dances are usually the 4th Saturday of the month. See our 2010 - 2011 Season Schedule page for specific dates.

 

We are open to the public, including people of all dance levels from beginner to advanced.  You may attend as a visitor as much as you like, but we also encourage annual membership which will save you over 40% in your fees. See our Membership and Visitors page for more details. 


 
 We have a very large dance floor, and we welcome dancers of all levels of ability. An hour lesson is included with admission.

 

Our music is provided sometimes by live bands and sometimes by DJs.

The club was started by a local ballroom dance instructor Amy DeMillio in 1964.  She wanted to provide a social event where her students could display their talents and get more practice time.  Through her dedication, it became a success and has continued even though Amy passed on.
